Koko B. Ware was Yokozuna's victim on the first episode of Monday Night Raw. The match only lasted a few minutes, and Koko was only permitted a few slices of offence before succumbing to the WWF's latest monster push. It was a role the man was becoming accustomed to, because his career had faded since the turn of the decade. Alive and well today at age 58, the man still occasionally wrestles when called upon. He's hardly frequent with his bookings, but he will sometimes show up on independent shows. In 2009, Koko was even inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, more so due to his length of service than any particularly noteworthy career accomplishments. He did work for the WWF from 1986-1994, and was a popular act when featured during that period. Incredibly, Koko filed a lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment in 2015. The basis of the charge was that he had suffered numerous concussions during his time with the company and wanted compensation. Naturally, this is a headache that WWE neither want nor need, and it did seem to come out of the blue.
