WWE RAW Review: 5 Things We Learned (5/5/2014)
Extreme Rules 2014 is officially in the books, and overall it was a rather nice PPV broadcast. From the surprisingly good pre-show WeeLC match featuring Hornswoggle and El Torito, through the epic Shield/Evolution showdown, and the brutal Daniel Bryan/Kane matchup, Extreme Rules hit almost on all cylinders. And while it didn't wrap up the storylines that they needed to move along from, it did provide for some great pay per view entertainment. That brings us to last night's edition of RAW. What a mixed bag of retreaded material and mid-card mayhem! It appears as though as we head towards the now-aptly titled Payback PPV, we are going to be in for more of the same: there are rumblings of a Daniel Bryan/Kane Casket or Buried Alive Match, Cena and Wyatt Part 3, and another Triple Threat Match for The Shield and Evolution. All are expected rematches, but WWE right now is failing to make any significant headway with other storylines.
