WWE RAW Review: 5 Things We Learned (May 19th 2014)
3. Bray Wyatt Puts Us To Sleep
For well over two months now, we have had the continual back and forth between Bray Wyatt and John Cena. Both men are scheduled to face each other one more time, hopefully for the final time for the foreseeable future, at the Payback PPV in two weeks. But right now, it's more of the same, and this week was no exception: Bray Wyatt talks, John Cena acts surprised, and John Cena gets a beatdown at some point during the RAW broadcast. Lather, rinse, repeat. http://youtu.be/xnlBJh78FiM http://youtu.be/VQ-iNC9Yso4 Of everything that is taking place in WWE right now, this angle is stuck in neutral. Bray Wyatt, for as amazing as he is on the mic, he continues to repeat himself, and sing that religious kids song as if it were his own. It's surprising to that end that WWE is allowing him to use a song about Jesus Christ on a weekly basis for his own promotion, but nevertheless it is starting to feel like old news. All of it is, quite frankly. This feud needs to come to a certain end at Payback, because right now we can skip the Bray Wyatt talking segments on RAW, and that is a very bad thing. He needs to get back to making us want to listen to him.
