WWE RAW Review: 5 Things We Learned (May 19th 2014)

4. Seth Rollins Shines Against Batista

In a very fun match, Seth Rollins squared off against Batista this week on RAW and subsequently showed us all that he is for real as a future singles competitor. Rollins practically stole the show with his performance this week, and by the end of the match, all 6 men from both factions were again involved in a throwdown of epic proportions. It was another a nice entry for this feud, and it continues to build the steam heading to their newly-announced No Holds Barred contest at Payback. http://youtu.be/mHrTqJY3ZzQ WWE has done well with this program. It certainly had the potential to burn out very quickly, but instead it's been a ton of fun having The Shield skyrocket in popularity while having Evolution reform and become somewhat relevant again. WWE has handled this entire program well, circling the wagons from Batista's botched return and turning it into a great opportunity to elevate younger talent. Kudos to WWE for making this work!
