WWE RAW Review: A Great Show Overshadowed By A New Belt

JERICHO/RYBACK/SHEAMUS VS THE SHIELD This was my favorite match of the night. The way the WWE has built the SHIELD as a coherent team has been. I was thinking they would have gone the weird route that Nexus took by now, but no, they are committed to these guys. I normally hate six-man tag matches, but coming off of the solid match at Elimination Chamber, I was looking forward to this one. I have to say it delivered. While it didn€™t surpass the match at Elimination Chamber, I enjoyed this one on its own merit. All three members of the SHIELD shined last night. Sheamus, Ryback, and Jericho worked much better as team too. I never really like seeing John Cena on any kind of team because you know he is the one who is normally gonna win the match for said team. Even though the SHIELD won the match at Elimination Chamber, you always had in the back of your mind that they weren€™t going to. It was a countdown until Cena domination. Luckily, they got a clean win. Perhaps that, coupled with the lack of Cena, gave the viewers last night a shred of doubt that Team Good Guys weren€™t going to win. When they didn€™t, it not only showed that the SHIELD are the real deal, but set up any number of potential individual feuds. I would love to see Jericho and Ambrose have a one-on-one match. How cool was that finish? I love that any member of the SHIELD can fly in (sometimes literally) and change the course of the match. I love that unpredictability.
