WWE RAW Review: A Show That Started Out So Well...

JACK SWAGGER VS THE MIZ This match is the entire WWE apps fault. If there wasn€™t an app, The Miz wouldn€™t have been attacked. Shame on you WWE app. Regardless, this match happened and wasn€™t awful. At this point in the show, the intensity and excitement that the show had at the beginning was gone. The three hour RAW€™s really do drag in the middle. The Miz and Swagger had a solid match, however, I have to admit that I was a bit afraid that the Miz was going to win just to punish Swagger for his real life transgressions. Swagger wins easily and keeps his feud with Del Rio hot. JOHN CENA VS CM PUNK The main event was a great match. The promo before the match that John Cena gave was pretty awful though. He used his southern preacher voice and everything. The match itself was really good though and almost made up for the previous hour and half filled with crap we were forced to swim in. CM Punk and John Cena have great chemistry. All of their battles from the past two years have been great matches so it was good to see that streak stay alive. CM Punk forces John Cena to not be so super. Yeah, John Cena won, but anyone with eyes knew that was coming. They aren€™t going to lose out on the payday that is Rock VS Cena 2. Luckily, CM Punk wasn€™t buried in the process. You have to wonder where CM Punk is going to end up facing at Wrestlemania. I know the idea of him taking on The Streak has been knocked around, but that would only ensure a Wrestlemania loss for him. I really don€™t think the Undertaker should defend the streak this year. He€™s already 20-0, what more does he have to do? The end of an era was supposed to be last year. Just let it be last year. Overall, the show started out hot and then quickly fizzled out somewhere around the 6th movie promo. The WWE had a real shot to kick things up last night but got too caught up in promoting itself. We€™re only about a month away from Wrestlemania, so they need to start getting their crap together and booking some matches. I don€™t want to buy a $60 PPV with only a week of build up. What did you think of last night€™s episode? Also, what do you think is next for CM Punk?
