WWE RAW Review: Real Life Tragedy Fuels Wrestlemania Feud

JERICHO TV+MIZ TV+WADE BARRETT AND MOVIE TRAILERS=AWFUL TV This segment was a train wreck. Normally, you can€™t look away. This is a train wreck that I wish I could have looked away from. I am going to be so happy once the 15 thousand WWE movies are released so they can stop showing the trailers every other segment. I know Halle Berry is thrilled that her movie is being drooled over by €˜Rasslin fans, but c€™mon, do something else. This segment fell completely flat. It was like watching bad improve where no one knew what to do. The WWE is no stranger to producing bad segments. They, however, rarely acknowledge it. It€™s been reported that Vince himself instructed Lawler and Cole to take a big ol€™ crap on this segment. By the time Brad Maddox threw himself into the mess, it was too late. I have no idea what this segment was trying to accomplish other than making a match to see who can take on Barrett for the Intercontinental Title. That could have been done in a lot less time. And they still could have shoehorned in 15 movie trailers. THE MIZ VS CHRIS JERICHO This match would have been a lot better had we not had to tread through 10 minutes of crap. This match was to determine who would face Wade Barrett next week on RAW. The match was just ok. It had the ending we all saw coming: Wade Barrett interfered which resulted in a no contest and will lead to a triple-threat match next week on RAW. As much as I love title matches on RAW, I€™m surprised they didn€™t try to build to Wrestlemania. The mid-card titles go unnoticed at the biggest show of the year, so it would have been nice to see three talented wrestlers face each other at Wrestlemania. Who knows, something might happen next week that makes that a reality. Either way, a great match should take place regardless of where it is at.
