WWE Releases Gabe Sapolsky
The EVOLVE founder was released earlier today.
In addition to the group of releases made by WWE yesterday, Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut has also released Gabe Sapolsky.
Sapolsky himself took to Twitter to announce his WWE departure, and PWInsider has since confirmed that the decision to release Gabe was made this morning.

Often referred to as a disciple of Paul Heyman's, Sapolsky got his pro wrestling start in Heyman's ECW, moving up the ranks to become Paul E.'s assistant.
Once ECW came to an end, Gabe wound up becoming the original booker for Ring of Honor. After impressing during his time with ROH, he would become Vice President of Dragon Gate USA when that promotion launched in 2009, and Sapolsky would then later go on to found EVOLVE the following year.
2015 saw EVOLVE strike up a formal working relationship with WWE, before McMahon's company eventually outright bought EVOLVE in 2020. During that time, Sapolsky took on a consultancy role within WWE (primarily for NXT) in 2018 - and he remained in that position until being released by the organisation today.
This news comes hot on the heels of WWE yesterday releasing William Regal, 'Road Dogg' Brian James, Scott Armstrong, Dave Kapoor, Ryan Katz, George Carroll, Christopher Guy, Sarah Cummins, Timothy Thatcher, Danny Burch, Cathy Corino and Hideki Suzuki.
