WWE Removes Match From Extreme Rules 2020?

SmackDown's low ratings cited as one possible reason...

WWE appears to have removed the scheduled 'Bar Fight' between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus from Sunday's 'The Horror Show At Extreme Rules' card.

Last night's SmackDown included a segment that teased the match will actually happen next week instead, which is certainly sudden. The company spent weeks hyping up this alcohol-infused scrap between both men, but it seems to be off the table at the pay-per-view.

On that note, WWE did add a Tables Match for the SmackDown Tag-Team Titles to the Extreme Rules line-up on Friday's show; Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura will challenge New Day for the belts.

Anyone who has been following the blue brand could see that one coming, but it's strange that Sheamus vs. Jeff has been bumped when it was one of the most heavily-promoted feuds the SmackDown side has.

Although WWE hasn't officially confirmed the 'Bar Fight' for next week's show, it'd make sense for them to pull the trigger soon and help boost SmackDown's ratings. Hardy was expected to beat the bully (who has been taunting him about his addiction problems and beat him at Backlash) then move on to bigger and better things.
