WWE Road to Wrestlemania 29: CM Punk Destroys The Undertaker, Kane's Paul Bearer Tribute

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto del Rio (c) vs Jack Swagger

On Monday Night Del Rio defeated Antonio Cesaro in a decent match, as WWE continues to book the World Heavyweight Champion strong. Later on Jack Swagger would defeat Sin Cara before refusing to release the ankle lock after the bell had rung. This predictably brought out Del Rio to save Sin Cara, the same man who Del Rio only recently did the same thing to repeatedly with his cross arm-breaker. After a few swings, Del Rio locked the hold on Swagger, but Zeb Coulter managed to pull his charge out of the ring. On Smackdown Del Rio wasn't in action other than to mock Swagger and Coulter's We The People videos again, but Swagger beat Chris Jericho in the main event. This storyline already feels like it is running out of ideas, and desperately needs some new momentum. Swagger and Coulter should be doing more to back up their xenophobic agenda, perhaps taking out more of the international superstars in the locker room, to make them look more of a legitimate threat. At present Del Rio looks by far the stronger, and unless there is a swerve coming, it will be far too predictable when Del Rio takes the win at Wrestlemania. Prediction: Del Rio to retain his championship at Wrestlemania.
