WWE Road to Wrestlemania 29 - John Cena Beats CM Punk To Face The Rock

Brock Lesnar v Triple H

In a wholly predicate set-up, the 'fight' between Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon brought out first Brock Lesnar to defend his manager, and then Triple H to defend his father-in-law. The brawl between the two was actually surprisingly gripping, with the control switching between the two. Triple H eventually cleared Brock from the ring, with the latter bleeding heavily from his forehead following a bump with the ringpost. Whether Heyman and McMahon will remain in the story remains to be seen, though one way they could take it is to make it a power struggle. For example if Triple H wins, Heyman is fired, if Brock wins, Vince has to make Heyman General Manager or such like. Alternatively WWE might think there is no need, and just let the two behemoths go at it again. They certainly don't need the two promoters, but adding them in at least adds a little intrigue so it is not merely a rehash of their Summerslam match. The match between Brock and Triple H at Summerslam 2012 was a brutal affair, and expect the same at Wrestlemania. Expect a gimmick of some kind to ramp up the intensity. Prediction: While Brock has looked by far the stronger and more aggresive over the past year, the chances of Triple H losing for the second time to Brock and for the third Wrestlemania in a row seem too slim.
