WWE Road To Wrestlemania 29: Shawn Michaels Returns, Final Match Predictions

Tons of Funk and The Funkadactyls vs Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins

Wrestlemania 29 Tons of Funk Firstly, I have no problem with this match. Sure it should probably have been on the pre-show, and sure both Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow deserve so much more. But hell, this match is a big bundle of ridicule, it is fun, and at least Rhodes and Sandow are on the card in some capacity this way. There is very little story to this beyond a bit of catty animosity between The Funkadactyls and The Bella Twins, but really, it doesn't matter when clearly this match isn't intended to be taken seriously. It will probably be used as a breather somewhere between The Undertaker/CM Punk and John Cena/The Rock matches, allowing the crowd to cool down a little and get a beer. On Raw, Nikki and Brie Bella faced off against Naomi and Cameron, meaning that for the second week running, Raw in theory had a Divas match as its main event. Naomi once again showed she has a decent moveset, until the coming together of the four men and the Divas at ringside provided enough of a distraction for Nikki to roll through a crossbody from Cameron for the pin. With Smackdown taped on Monday Night too, Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bellas came out dressed as their opponents. Now I am yet to see this, but that was either a) hilarious or b) borderline racial. The real Tons of Funk and Funkadactyls came out and the teams brawled before Rhodes Scholars and The Bellas retreated. Like I say, all good fun. Prediction: Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bellas to take the win. WWE didn't bring The Bellas back just to have them lose, and hopefully WWE sees there is more worth in making Sandow and Rhodes, two of their most promising stars, look relatively strong.
