WWE Road to Wrestlemania 29: The Undertaker Returns, CM Punk To Challenge The Streak

The Shield vs Sheamus/Randy Orton/Big Show

Another Big Show face turn? Seriously? After last week's antics between these six men, The Shield cut another of their excellent promos this week warning Big Show that he had made himself a target. Following the fatal four-way main event on Raw, when the cameras had stopped rolling live, The Shield came out to take down Big Show, and execute a mightily impressive triple-man powerbomb on the World's Largest Athlete. On a side note, I heard that people were calling that move the Cerebrus Powerbomb (i.e. the three headed dog), which is an awesome name if so. On Smackdown, Big Show blamed Sheamus and Randy Orton for the attack on him, which Sheamus didn't take too kindly to, leading to a match between them later on the show. The Shield of course interfered, beating the two men down until Randy came out, only to beaten down himself. Eventually The Shield were cleared from the ring, and Show took his chance to knock out Sheamus, before catching an RKO from Orton. While Big Show seems to have been inserted into this feud mostly to keep him busy and even the odds, it does create an interesting dynamic. Could Sheamus and Orton team with him, in a 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' kind of deal? If so, I just hope it wouldn't be the Big Show who finally stops The Shield on their rampage through the WWE. They deserve better than that, and the longer The Shield remain a genuine threat the better. Prediction: Big Show to team with Sheamus and Randy Orton at Wrestlemania against The Shield, with The Shield taking the win when the other three can't work together.
