1. Post-Match
Its difficult to argue against making any bout follow the actual Royal Rumble match itself, but the lack of preparation after the street fight to clean up the ring was utterly surprising. After Cactus Jack finished his post-match attack on a stretchered Triple H who had been whisked away from a crew of officials led by referee Teddy Long, ring crew could be seen sweeping thumbtacks and bloody liquid away from the ring canvas mercifully, before and after WWE cut to a young Jonathan Coachman who was standing live with Linda McMahon at the now-defunct, WWF New York in Times Square. The Royal Rumble, the grandest presentation of the night, was then started on a blood-stained ring. Whereas now, WWE equips their rings with removable extra canvas layers placed on top of one another for a quick fix for a new clean look. The Rock went on to eliminate the Big Show for the win to headline WrestleMania 2000, which subsequently became a four-way elimination match for the WWF championship with our street fight competitors being thrown into the mix. Which was then won by, drumroll please Triple H.
