Then: If you happened to watch episodes of Superstars in 2010-2011, you'll know that Chris Masters deserved better than his two minute spot at the Rumble a decade ago. He had clearly worked hard to improve himself as a wrestler, but WWE didn't do much with him before releasing the guy in August 2011.

Now: He's still a physical beast.

Masters hit the indy scene hard after being canned by WWE, and even spent some time in IMPACT on top of that. Again, he's some specimen. At 38, he'd probably still have something to offer WWE if they were interested.
