5. Randy Orton
The past year has been an interesting one for Randy Orton, who has spent most of his time doing nothing in particular. He is still one of the go-to-guys in a feud, but very few of his battles have been for anything in particular. He has been kept away from the title pictures, and continues to struggle to show any dynamism as a face. It is time for a heel turn, which he reportedly wants, and the hints are being laid down that it could be starting to happen. A clean loss to Wade Barrett on this week's Raw might mean he is either in the WWE dog house or that a character change is coming. If Orton turned heel, it opens up a whole new range of Superstars he could feud with, and he could go for the World Heavyweight Title again. Giving him the Royal Rumble win would re-establish him as a serious threat. It could either be a point in his heel turn, or the climax of it, if, for example, he won through some devious means. Imagine if he and Sheamus worked together to eliminate someone like Ryback, before Orton quickly betrayed Sheamus and eliminated him too. Randy takes the win, and it starts a feud between heel Orton and face Sheamus.
