3. There Is A WWE Roster Spot With Bo Dallas' Name On It
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG12iZPH8oc The Royal Rumble is famous for providing the returns of past names, which was evidenced by the inclusion of Goldust and the Godfather in this year's event. But, this year's Rumble may have announced the arrival of a future star, with NXT wrestler Bo Dallas entered the match at No. 16, becoming the first wrestler from WWE's training brand to enter the match. Whilst he may have launched a tradition that could be applied to future Rumbles, it was his individual performance that draws the most telling plaudits, as he would survive over twenty minutes and eliminate Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, before himself being eliminated by a bitter Barrett and being knocked out for his troubles. But, if this match taught us anything, it's that this young man will very soon be a part of the WWE Roster. Wrestling is in Dallas' veins, as he is the grandson of WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan, the son of I.R.S Mike Rotunda, the nephew of both Barry and Kendall Windham and the brother of former Nexus member Husky Harris. The business is in his blood, and it has wildly been speculated that he would soon be part of the main roster. Many believed he would be a new component for the Shield in their quest for justice, but this incident with Barrett in the Rumble immediately gives him a feud for the future. A young rookie eliminates the current reigning Intercontinental Champion, who recently has claimed numerous victories and professed himself to be bringing prestige back to the title. Humiliated as well as eliminated by the actions of this "nobody", he brings it upon himself to return to the ring and eliminate the rookie and give him a parting Bull-Hammer Elbow for his efforts. This brings Dallas to where he is now, and the only sensible course of action is to send him back after the champion and battle him for the prestigious belt, and whether he wins it or not, it will be apparent that Bo Dallas has arrived and is ready to mix it up with the big guns.
