It instantly elevates a lower talent. It makes a new star who can make money. It would get people talking and ensure that viewers tune into the next night on Raw. Just imagine the shock if someone totally out of contention like Dolph Ziggler actually won. It would be a hugely refreshing moment. You could even have someone like Big E or Cesaro taking the honour - in adding unpredictability the WWE shouldn't rule anyone out. Drama is all about surprises. It might be truly crazy thinking, but what if the company went as far to have a complete jobber win? Just look at the reaction when Santino thought he had won it a few years back. It would be hilarious if they actually did pull the trigger on the last person anyone expected. The company could always write the Rumble winner out and put the real Mania main eventer in with an angle at Elimination Chamber. The idea is so crazy it might just work. In truth, the company are going to play it safe. But just one of these shocking moments coming to reality would make for a truly unforgettable night. It is with great intrigue that many WWE fans will be glued to the TV set come this Sunday evening.
