Speculation about Sting signing with WWE seems to have really intensified in the last couple of the weeks. The latest story is that discussions are ongoing, Sting will likely be in for Wrestlemania 30. What I wonder is, could all this be a series of misinformation from the WWE? Perhaps the deal got done a long time ago, back when this story first surfaced last year. With a big Rumble surprise entry in mind the company may be trying to string people along that Sting won't be in until Mania ... only for him to come in tonight to set up his Wrestlemania match with Undertaker. Another possibility is that WWE have just got this deal done, deciding to add Sting at the very, very last minute to tonight's event. More far out things have happened. If a big return was to happen at tonight's show it would explain the nature of Batista's return early. It seemed unusual to many fans that Batista would not be held off until the Rumble, given the fact that WWE like to save big moments for pay per view. One scenario is that WWE didn't want too many big surprises in one night, so they had Batista return on the Raw ... and another big return at the Rumble?
