Piper led a segment of Piper's Pit in which The Shield did their best to intimidate him. But just as it looked as though The Shield would destroy Hot Rod, he got the assist from CM Punk and The New Age Outlaws. But is Piper done after that? Is there a possibility that Roddy Piper could perhaps make an appearance in the Royal Rumble? Piper is by far one of the most entertaining Superstars that WWE has ever known. His ability to draw heat as a heel was matched only by his popularity as a babyface. Much like Jake Roberts, Piper was a master on the mic. When Roddy spoke, everyone stopped to listen. He was just that good. And now he has heat with WWE's number one heel group of all time. But will that lead to an in-ring return for Piper at the Royal Rumble? Will we see the unpredictable Piper enter the ring and go directly for The Shield themselves? Piper's character has always been fearless, a man that operated less out of common sense and being cautious and more on just sheer instinct.
