WWE Royal Rumble 2014: 7 Superstars Most Likely To Win

5. Hulk Hogan

hulk hogan Yes. It's almost 2014, and the Hulkster is in my list of possible Royal Rumble winners. But see, I believe there are a few reasons that would make Vince McMahon think this is a good idea. First, his contract with TNA wrestling expired in October earlier this year, making him a free agent. His current relationship to WWE is somewhat friendly, at least, considering he's a part of the WWE 2K14 videogame, and reports say that he's negotiating with WWE and that he has already done a verbal deal with the Stanford-based promotion. Plus, it's no secret that Hulk Hogan lost a ton of money on his divorce a few years back, and there's no doubt that another WWE run would make him a lot of money. WrestleMania XXX is coming up, and it wouldn't feel right to have such a big WrestleMania landmark without the man who main evented the first eight WrestleManias and helped raise the WWE to the current juggernaut level that the promotion's at today, Hulk Hogan. Vince McMahon has also once said that the legend could be 90 years old and in a wheel chair, and he'd still be a draw. Well, he's halfway there, being 60 now and barely being able to walk, so he'd still be a great draw in McMahon's eyes. Another big reason why I believe Hogan may challenge the Undisputed Champion at WrestleMania: he's arguably the biggest legend in WWE history, but he didn't ever have his final goodbye match. Ric Flair did, Shawn Michaels did, but Hogan, due to one reason or another, never had one. I think it's possible that Vince would believe that a match versus John Cena at WrestleMania XXX would be the best sendoff for the Hulkster. There's also no doubt that if Hogan does win the Rumble, his last match will be at WrestleMania against John Cena. This was supposed to take place at WrestleMania 25, but Hogan couldn't do it due to health reasons, so who knows? His age and physical conditions are the obvious reasons why he may not be able to do it (and why many younger fans, or even older ones, may not want to see it), but if we hear Real American on that #30 entrance, don't count him out.
