The Work Horses
These are the guys that will enter early, assuredly somewhere through #1-10. Its not because theres a meticulous and elaborate plan to turn them into underdog stories either, but rather the fact that theyre the wrestlers with impeccable conditioning and stamina. They wont win, but theyll definitely make the match an outstanding watch and will carry the Rumble through the slow moments. 12. Dolph Ziggler Dolph entered the Rumble early last year and lasted around 45 minutes simply because he can go that long with the ability to consistently pull off fresh and exciting spots. Its almost certain hell have a similar showing despite not really being involved in the main event scene. 11. Cody Rhodes I firmly believe that Cody Rhodes is simply one of the best talents on the roster and is long overdue for a main event push. Ive already mentioned that its awesome seeing him get a Tag Team Championship run with big brother Goldust, but he deserves more. I doubt he wins but based on his past hard Rumble work hes definitely someone well be seeing. 10. Kofi Kingston Its kind of depressing when you think about it considering Kofi has the talent to be so much more but hes only going to get a ticket for one reason. You can always bet on him to do something acrobatically insane that defies physics. Hes essentially the spot monkey for the match, but on the bright side he is getting Television time. 9. Daniel Bryan Daniel Bryan is the center of much controversy right now with some fans interested in his defection to the Wyatt brothers stable, and others of the opinion that its the biggest plot mistake since having Rikishi run down Stone Cold in a vehicle. The bottom line though is that Bryan is one of the most conditioned stars on the roster and will provide numerous highlights. Its also very likely that hell help Bray stay in the match for an extended period of time. He would be a fantastic choice to win but rumors are swirling that The Undertaker wants to face him at WrestleMania, ruling a Rumble win out. 8. Christian An assured and experienced in-ring mechanic is essential for the hour long Royal Rumble match. Christian has been on the injured list for some time, but is reportedly waiting to come back. This could be the time to facilitate his reintegration, he would add the calm head needed in this environment.
