WWE Royal Rumble 2014: Predicting 30 Superstars Who Will Appear

Surprise Entrants

Unexpected returns and mind blowing surprises are definitely the most exciting aspect of the Royal Rumble; you just have no idea who will make an emphatic entrance blowing the roof off the arena. For this reason alone, it€™s actually disappointing when all 30 entrants have trickled their way out into the mayhem as there are no surprises left aside from who wins. This year has some massive potential for returns and surprise entrants that range from a lock to amazingly plausible €œwhat if€ scenarios. 7. Undertaker With Undertaker vs Lesnar also still rumored as a possible Streak match for Wrestlemania, the Royal Rumble seems like the perfect starting point. Lesnar could be dominating the Rumble with devastating force, only for the Deadman's bell to strike. The lights go out and then Taker is in the ring to devastate Brock. It would be building on both mens "words" at UFC in 2010, and would be a highlight of this years Rumble. 6. Brock Lesnar Building on the last point, obviously we need Brock Lesnar in for that situation to transpire. With Brock being at the show and having sworn to pursue the WWE championship, it makes sense that he will end up entering the Rumble on the night. Brock Lesnar in the Royal Rumble is the explosive entertainment the match needs. 5. Sheamus Obviously Sheamus has been sidelined with a brutal shoulder injury since the Money In The Bank PPV but an event like the Royal Rumble is the perfect opportunity for a return. Everyone remembers Cena shocking the world with a return and winning, so maybe Sheamus will do something similar. If not, he is seemingly poised for a dramatic return sometime soon. He is a former Royal Rumble winner after all. 4. Rob Van Dam When RVD went out of WWE in the summer of 2013, he was reportedly set to return at the Rumble for a run over the Wrestlemania season. Van Dam would be assured of a nice pop moment and will add considerable aerial / athletic drama to the match up.
