WWE Royal Rumble 2015: 10 Potential Winners

1. CM Punk

Many of you are probably groaning at the inclusion of Phil Brooks on this list, but it's worth saying; if CM Punk ever returns to the WWE, it will be by the 2015 Royal Rumble. It might be a lot sooner than that, but if he isn't appearing in the ring to try and earn a championship shot against 29 other men, then the chances are that his time in wrestling is over. Wouldn't it be perfect if he did return? A whole year after the night that he decided to walk away from the WWE, he'd be competing for a place in the main event at Wrestlemania, with a lack of previous opportunities to headline the show of shows being an alleged reason behind his initial departure. He'd also be well-rested, having built up a number of injuries and problems that nearly 20 years of wrestling will bestow upon the body. Whether or not this could be in the works remains to be seen. Punk's contract is up in July, meaning the answer will probably be found out a lot sooner than January. But if the WWE were able to keep it under wraps - after all, both parties have maintained near-silence since Punk left - and shoe him in to the Rumble as a surprise participant, it'd be the most amazing, shocking, and historic moment that the WWE could give its audience. For Punk to win, and then go on to main event Wrestlemania, well, that'd be just a dream come true. But for the time being, that's all it can be; a dream. Who do you think should win the 2015 Royal Rumble?
