In the wake of the biggest upset to ever occur on WWE programming, Brock Lesnar needs some clear direction. Seemingly not scheduled to appear on TV any time soon, it represents a quite intriguing stance on Brock's place on the roster. On the one hand, he defeated The Undertaker's legendary streak, and should be booked as the monster capable of doing so, destroying opponents week in, week out, until it's time to put someone else over. On the other hand, if he's regularly absent from TV, as has been the case since his return, then he'll only come out of the woodwork for the big events, with the big pay cheques. As unfortunate as it is, the latter is most likely. So what's a streak conqueror to do these days? What better way to ensure maximum impact at one of his already-limited appearances than by beating 29 other men to win the 2015 Royal Rumble? It's a tall order, given the required amount of buildup on the Road to Wrestlemania. Lesnar wouldn't be able to just phone in appearances like he did this year, barely contributing even when he did turn up. Say what you like about Batista, but he has been putting the hours in since his return. Furthermore, if Lesnar were to win the title at Wrestlemania, he'd need to be active and ready to defend it on a regular basis, which doesn't really fit with the part-time contract that Brock seems to have. But if a streak is there to broken, then a Royal Rumble is there to be won, and having won it back in 2003, the beast incarnate is surely capable of repeating that success in 2015.
