WWE Royal Rumble 2016 Spoilers: 10 Things To Expect Tonight
10. Kevin Owens And Dean Ambrose To Open The Show
The Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose 'Street Fight' would be the ideal way to open up the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The rivalry between both men is one of the most intriguing in WWE at the moment, and they could tear the house down and set the tone for the rest of the show. Last year, a tame tag bout between The Ascension and The New Age Outlaws opened proceedings. WWE shouldn't make that mistake again. Owens vs. Ambrose is a program that has carried Smackdown over the past month or so, and they deserve to have a chance to grab the audience on a bigger stage. The best way to do that is to allow the WWE Intercontinental Title bout to be the first things fans see, because it's definitely a match most people are looking forward to. In fact, aside from the Rumble itself, theirs is arguably the most anticipated match on the card. Royal Rumble should feel frenetic, and opening the show suits both guys down to the ground. Exploding out of the gate, Ambrose and Owens could really hammer one another and get fans properly excited. It's hard to imagine any of the other title matches advertised having that same impact.
