WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Superstars We Actually Want To See Win
7. Shinsuke Nakamura
Holy hell, can you imagine the reaction when that violin plays over the Titantron at the Alamodome? It’s more than likely that one or two NXT names will turn up in the Rumble (our money is on Tye Dillinger entering at number ten), but few have the ability to pull off the shock of the century like Shinsuke Nakamura. It’s already long overdue for The King Of Strong Style to make his main roster debut, and like AJ Styles last year, this will be the moment that puts WWE on the hype train again.
There are few things that would make any smark cry more than the New Japan and indie darling debuting in WWE and winning the most important match of the year. Yes, this would probably mean losing the NXT title again, but why should that matter if we get to see the Japanese icon take on Kevin Owens or AJ Styles at WrestleMania? Moments like this are why the moaners still watch wrestling.
