In stark contrast to many of the other titles up for grabs at the Royal Rumble, there's a good chance the Cruiserweight gold will change hands. It's not that Rich Swann has been a disaster as champion - he hasn't. Neville's newfound success as a heel has simply reinvigorated the Englishman to the point that he deserves to be on top.

Dubbing himself 'King Of The Cruiserweights', Neville can only rightly claim such a title when champ. Therefore, it makes sense that he will defeat Swann (maybe even by pulling the wool over a referee's eyes and cheating) at the Royal Rumble.

There's a lot to be said for having Neville reign supreme over the rest of the Cruiserweight clan. Following 29 January, Swann would have something to chase, remarking that his Newcastle-born foe could never beat him without resorting to cheap tactics.

A lower-card title, the Cruiserweight belt doesn't rely on lengthy reigns to be viable. Instead, it needs strong characters who can drive the title forward with promos as well as in-ring. Neville has become that man.
