WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Ranking 10 Most Likely Winners

9. Triple H

Triple H's return and victory in the 2016 Royal Rumble was one of the most obvious "surprises" in recent WWE history. Following TLC 2015, everybody knew that the WrestleMania 32 main event was going to be Triple H versus Roman Reigns, and when the announcement was made that Reigns would be putting his WWE World Title on the line in the Rumble, that gave HHH the perfect opportunity to take the belt without giving away the so-called money match.

A follow-up victory by HHH in the 2017 Royal Rumble would be unheard of - if it wasn't for the fact that "The Game" in penciled in to take on Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 33. That match doesn't need a championship in play, but that never stopped Triple H before. If Rollins unseats Kevin Owens as Universal Champion prior to the Rumble (a major possibility), then HHH could potentially win the match to seal up a bout with Rollins for the object he desires most.

Again, it's a long shot. Let's hope it stays that way.
