WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Ranking 10 Most Likely Winners

2. Brock Lesnar

Since Brock Lesnar won his feud with The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell last year, it can be argued that WWE hasn't been getting a lot of bang for their buck with "The Beast." Since then, Brock has won the meaningless matches in which he's been involved, but when something important - like a title or a spot in WrestleMania's main event - is at stake, the company always manages to beat him without actually beating him.

Lesnar still hasn't gotten a one-on-one rematch for the WWE Championship in a match that's been seen to its conclusion, and in kayfabe, he both deserves and can't possibly lose such a shot. Perhaps the best way to build up to him getting one is with a Royal Rumble victory in front of a WrestleMania-sized crowd.

Pushing Brock as the likely winner of the match could do a lot to sell tickets to a show that may need help. Plus, now that there are two major titles in WWE, the company may be more apt to give "The Beast" another run as a part-time champ.
