WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Chances Of Winning

10. Sami Zayn

This week was huge for Sami Zayn. Sure, the outcome of his match with Seth Rollins owed more to Triple H's musical distraction than anything else, but it's Sami's biggest win in months. Not only did he pin a former WWE Champion, but he stole his spot in the Rumble and is now in a far stronger position than he was a few weeks ago.

Zayn's attention has been largely occupied by Braun Strowman lately. The rookie monster has dominated their feud, and while Roadblock: End Of The Line gave Sami a paltry measure of revenge, he's yet to deal a significant blow to the big man.

The Rumble presents a perfect opportunity to change that, however. Eliminating Braun from the Rumble would give Zayn some major shine without detracting from Strowman's monstrous aura, even though their rivalry is reaching its end. Sami winning the Rumble outright would be a surprise, but it's not a terrible idea given the paucity of believable babyfaces in WWE at the moment.

Chances: Moderate.
