WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Chances Of Winning

7. The Miz

The Miz is the best heel in wrestling at the moment. He was already Intercontinental Champion ahead of the Brand Split, but being positioned as Daniel Bryan's chief antagonist has worked wonders for him on SmackDown. Miz has been on fire since his explosive Talking Smack rant last summer, and while currently lacking in gold, he's one of the most important wrestlers in the company.

He's almost certainly poised for main event success, and it might come sooner than people think. Nobody draws heat like The Miz, and his excellence on the microphone makes him a great foil for any babyface. Put him in a title program and he won't let a single soul down.

Miz will be driven by his eternal desire to prove Bryan wrong on Sunday, and he has a decent shot of pulling it off. He's smart and wily enough to fly low on most superstars' radars and capitalise on any slip-ups and lapses in concentration along the way. Whether he can do that for long enough to win the match is another matter entirely

Chances: Reasonable.
