WWE Royal Rumble 2017: Rating Each Entrant's Chances Of Winning

8. Bray Wyatt

A few months ago, Bray Wyatt would have had a snowball's chance in hell of winning the Royal Rumble. He's still quite far down the pecking order in terms of potential winners as things stand, but his position has improved immensely, and it's all thanks to the Randy Orton angle.

Orton vs. Wyatt had become a turgid feud, but their uneasy union has breathed new life into everyone involved. Wyatt feels important again, and spots like claiming the decisive pinfall in Survivor Series' men's 5-on-5 match have restored some much needed credibility. He's not quite the threat he could be, but he's definitely getting there.

Wyatt is an excellent shout for a final four spot. Winning would still represent a considerable risk and WWE have never shown complete faith in him as a big time singles wrestler, but it would no doubt please his loyal legions of fans. The Brand Split has shown that Bray Wyatt can be a force again, and that his career is far from unsalvageable.

Chances: Reasonable.
