There's a chance AJ Styles will be overshadowed by the ongoing drama involving Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan on the SmackDown side of things. That could leave his second WWE Title reign in tatters, which is something nobody wants to see. We want that AJ vs. Nakamura match, damn it.

Everything points to McMahon getting involved in the handicap match at the Rumble and ultimately costing Styles his championship. Think back to that glare AJ gave Shane on SmackDown recently, and remember that McMahon has been sticking his nose into the champ's business due to his hatred of KO/Sami. His interference at the Rumble makes sense.

If this match opens the show and WWE want to book a title change due to Shane's stupidity, then Bryan could rescue things by putting AJ in the Rumble and having him win it. As much as it'd stink to see AJ's WrestleMania headline dreams go up in smoke, he'd be a brilliant choice to take the Rumble.
