Unless WWE plan to put a quick Intercontinental Title defence on the card, then Roman Reigns will be in the Royal Rumble. If rumours that Reigns will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 34 are to be believed, another Rumble win for Roman could be on the agenda. It'd be 2015 all over again.

Back then, Reigns was booed heavily for winning the 30-man match. Not even an endorsement by The Rock could stem the derision from fans who felt WWE's pet project was being pushed down their throats. That was three years ago now, and we're still seeing many of the same problems.

Another Rumble win for Reigns would be disastrous, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

Surely creative wouldn't be so foolish as to think people would accept it? This year's Rumble needs a winner fans want to either cheer or boo for the right reasons, not because they're sick of seeing someone elevated time and time again.
