WWE Royal Rumble 2018: Predicting 10 Biggest Spots

7. Honky Tonk Elias

WWE might be building towards Elias vs. John Cena at the moment, but 'The Drifter' is primed and ready for an embarrassment spot at the Royal Rumble. He's the kind of heel fans love to see humiliated, and he plays that role well, though we're going to need something a little more convincing than Jason Jordan's veggie assault at TLC 2017.

A recreation of the Honky Tonk Man's 2001 Rumble run makes sense. In that match, the Elvis Presley knock-off grabbed a microphone, talked Kane down, and turned the bout into a full-on concert. He barely had time to finish his entrance music before 'The Big Red Machine' cracked him with his guitar, however, and the former Intercontinental Champion was out in little over a minute.

This part of the match almost writes itself, as all Elias has to do is slope down the ramp with his guitar, break out a couple of verses, then get the hell kicked out of him by whoever's in the ring at the time. It'll be a nice babyface rub for the aggressor, and comeuppance for Raw's biggest pest.
