WWE Royal Rumble 2018: Rating Each Entrant’s Chances Of Winning

4. Randy Orton

He may have been one of WWE's least inspiring performers in 2017 (and a genuine 'Worst Wrestler of the Year' contender, despite his obvious talents), but there's a reason Randy Orton is one of the most decorated wrestlers in company history. Vince McMahon loves him, trusts him to no end, and will turn to him to fill top spots time and time again.

This puts him in a similar position to long-term rival John Cena, in that a victory is possible, but would be considered a minor surprise. It's admittedly unlikely that WWE would have 'The Viper' win two years in a row, though they haven't ran a full-on feud between him and AJ Styles yet. Such a bout would certainly work, but given how consistently awful Orton was in 2017, does anybody really want to see him in another major WrestleMania title match?

Chances: Moderate.
