WWE Royal Rumble 2019 - 10 Most Likely Winners
2. Randy Orton
Randy Orton hasn't had a great history with Royal Rumbles, which is weird, considering he's won two of them. However, they're not looked upon with fondness. In 2009, when he was the company's top heel, he won his first Rumble and went on to have one of the worst WrestleMania main events ever with Triple H. Eight years later, Orton won his second in a move that was mostly met with bemusement and apathy from the fans.
However, Orton's luck might be different this coming Rumble season. Since returning in July, the Viper has reinvigorated himself, once again donning the persona of a vicious heel, twisting ear lobes and just generally being a bit of a knob.
People have really responded to Orton's change in attitude after years of babyface mediocrity. However, Randy has conspicuously been kept far away from WWE Champion AJ Styles. With how much traction this heel turn has gained, it's not out of the realm of possibility to have Orton win the Rumble and finally go one on one with Styles (this time on PPV and with the proper heel/face alignment).
If you ask my brain, this is who will win the 2019 Royal Rumble. But if you ask my heart...
