WWE Royal Rumble 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Drew McIntyre Wins The Men's Rumble

Forget the trumpets (sorry, Rusev) for now. Sound the bagpipes instead, 'cause a Scottish soldier is about to march towards victory.

Drew McIntyre is arguably the most obvious winner of this year's Royal Rumble. He's been pushed to the moon lately, has recaptured that air of 'Chosen One' and looks every bit like a Vince McMahon fantasy come to life. If anyone's poised to win the Rumble and rock up to WrestleMania, it's big, bad Drew.

Seth Rollins' win over McIntyre on Raw would suggest that there's a reverse coming at the end of the 30-man slog this Sunday. After Rollins claws his way near the end and survives against 28 fresher men, it'd make Drew look like a mega-heel if he hurled cold water on fan hopes by eliminating Seth at the last gasp.

This is his time to shine, but WWE needn't worry about any heel vs. heel match between he and Brock Lesnar in New Jersey. If that idea doesn't float their boat, then creative can always insert someone like Braun Strowman (or maybe even Rollins himself) into the match to make it a Triple Threat.
