WWE Royal Rumble 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Seth Rollins Becomes The Rumble's 'Iron Man'

Last year, Finn Bàlor lasted an exhausting 57:38 in the men's Rumble. That's 13 minutes longer than the next man (eventual winner Shinsuke Nakamura worked for 44:38) and an incredible 38 minutes and 37 seconds longer than fellow workhorse Seth Rollins. This year, Seth can make up time.

Is there anyone better-placed to be the 2019 Rumble's 'Iron Man'? Probably not. Rollins carved a niche for himself by working lengthy matches in 2018, and he's a cinch to go an hour or so here. Further, his recent promos have been about fighting for everything you have, not coming from a privileged background and working to make ends meet.

He'd have to fight, scratch, bite and claw to survive against 29 other men. The story writes itself, and the announcers could easily refer to his promo this past Monday as he struggled to hold on. WWE shouldn't give up the chance to give the Rumble some depth, then break everyone's hearts at the end.
