Every year kicks off with the same question: who will WWE get behind come the Rumble? This time, it was Seth Rollins' turn to get the January mega-push that'll carry through until WrestleMania this spring. His 43-minute showing was also the longest of the night in the men's Rumble, which fits in nicely with his 'Iron Man' aura.

Unlike his Chicago Bears (Michael Cole made a point of mentioning Seth's ring attire was patterned after his fave NFL team), Rollins has made it to his own Super Bowl-level party.

Drew McIntyre was someone deemed likely to be a potential winner, and some even had Samoa Joe down as an outside bet before the show. Other than that, there wasn't a whole load of credibility to other guesses (pulled from social media) wondering if WWE might promote Andrade or give old warhorse Kurt Angle one more hurrah.

None of them came close. Seth Rollins was the man chosen to win the thing, and he'll go on to "headline" 'Mania 35 and get a crack at the Universal Title. Fans of work rate should rejoice at this news.
