4. Those #30 Slots Were A Total Waste

R-Truth didn't even make it to his Rumble match and Carmella was booted off the ring apron by Charlotte Flair after a fairly uneventful seven-minute stretch. That, unfortunately, means winning the Mixed Match Challenge was a colossal waste of time for the dance breakers.

Sure, it was cool to see Nia Jax replace Truth and show some fire, but WWE crapped the bed on this one. Announcing both #30 entrants for the Rumble matches ahead of time removed any and all suspense, and it also made it abundantly clear that neither position had a hope in hell of winning.

'Mella had a better chance than Truth of pulling out the victory, granted.

Even so, her stock has fallen since she's been associated with him, and her 2019 performance was markedly different from the 18:45 she lasted in last year's first-ever match. WWE could've done a better job protecting the supposedly-desirable #30 spots.
