WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Men's Royal Rumble
Result: Seth Rollins eliminates Braun Strowman to win the Rumble (57:35).
Rating: This was a totally typical Royal Rumble match: it was neither bad nor inspired or really interesting in any way. Needless to say, outside of the entertaining Nia Jax spot, there's not a lot here that fans will be remembering for long.
Rollins was an acceptable if not terribly creative winner considering he spent long stretches of the match doing nothing, while the likes of Drew McIntyre, Samoa Joe and Andrade were busy giving their everything.
But the hungry talent at least got plenty of time to shine, with Mustafa Ali perhaps having the most impressive showing of all (eliminating both Nakamura and Joe).
Also, WWE had enough prime rib talent that they didn't need to waste numerous spots on bloated legends: that was reserved solely for Jeff Jarrett (whose ring attire was, er, a choice).
It takes a lot to make a Rumble match truly bad, so even though this was just fine, overall it turned out decently enjoyable. 6/10
