WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Predicting The 10 Biggest Spots

7. Trish & Lita Return

There's plenty of scope for surprises in this year's women's Royal Rumble.

With the bulk of WWE's main roster competitors already announced and seven spots still remaining, crowd-popping shocks are a guarantee. That WWE pulled off so many female comebacks in 2018 takes the gloss off many of them, but if they're going to repeat anyone from last year's bout, it might as well be Trish Stratus and Lita.

They're two of the most important names in the division's history, and both worked three matches last year. Their Evolution tag versus Alicia Fox and Mickie James was followed by a 10-woman scrap on Raw. Reports stating that the duo were keen on future dates with a view to an eventual WrestleMania 35 bout then suffered, and while we haven't seen either of them in the ring since October 2018, it'd make sense for them to re-emerge in the Rumble if a 'Showcase Of The Immortals' appearance is on the cards.

Whether battling together or fighting each other, their arrivals would get the crowd going, and it'd be a shame not to include Stratus after 2018's standout showing.
