WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Predicting The 10 Biggest Spots

8. Drew Does Diesel

Diesel comparisons have followed Drew McIntyre from the moment he returned to WWE's main roster by Dolph Ziggler's side. They seemed lazy at first, and built on nothing more than the Scot being a tall, jacked, dark-haired man who hung out with a shorter blonde fella, but felt increasingly apt by the end of their union. Their split hasn't yet yielded a rocket push similar to Kevin Nash's back in the day, though.

This may come before long. Though WWE have muffled Drew's push with 50/50 booking, Vince McMahon reportedly earmarked him as a potential main eventer long ago. Expect him to make waves in the Rumble, even if he isn't winning it.

As we've got a different wrestler pegged for victory (more on him later), it'd make sense for WWE to take the Nash comparisons to the next level, handing Drew the spot that helped make Diesel a star in 1994. He'll come out, run wild, eliminate a boatload of wrestlers in destructive fashion, and leave the bout looking like an absolute beast. Diesel chucked seven bodies in '94; 20 years later, Roman Reigns threw a record 12. Somewhere in-between would be great for McIntyre.
