WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Predicting The 10 Biggest Spots

5. Stephanie Steals The Spotlight

Batista Welcome Back
WWE

Stephanie McMahon crowbarred her way into the first women's Royal Rumble picture by sitting at the commentary booth, then failing to provide a single drop of insight throughout the bout. She could feasibly do the same thing again in 2019, but will that be enough for a serial spotlight-hogger, and someone who has never passed up a good opportunity to thrust her name back into the headlines?

No. Absolutely not.

Nobody should be surprised to see Steph enter herself as an unannounced entrant on 27 January. This would send cynics to their favoured social media platforms in droves, but there is a way to use her to the match's benefit.

Give McMahon last year's Vickie Guerrero spot. Have her come down the ramp full of hubris, spout some high-and-mighty bullsh*t to the competitors, then get jumped by a united force. Eliminate the prospect of a burial altogether by having her get thrown out by four or five opponents at once, and have McMahon eat a big plateful of comeuppance like the one served to her at WrestleMania 34.

Watch her become this year's iron woman instead.
