WWE Royal Rumble 2021: Predicting The 10 Biggest Spots
1. Brock Lesnar Returns
It has to happen sooner or later, right? Brock Lesnar hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since his decisive loss to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36, and history tells us that The Beast Incarnate doesn't take decisive losses easily. In fact, Lesnar has gained revenge on most of those who made him look weak. It is unthinkable that he will let Drew McIntyre get away with this.
With that in mind, except Brock to make a shock return at the 2021 Royal Rumble, entering the match at number 30 and doing the bare minimum before having his hand raised. Will he set his sights on Drew McIntyre and the WWE Championship?
In a word, no. Roman Reigns has never been more credible, and having Brock win the Royal Rumble match is a simple way for WWE to set up arguably the biggest money match it can, albeit a match that we've seen on many occasions. This time is different, for so many reasons. What role will Paul Heyman play? Can heel Roman Reigns succeed where babyface Roman failed, namely in getting a positive reaction from the audience after taking a beating from Brock Lesnar?
All that remains to be seen, but Brock Lesnar remains the dark horse winner of this year's Royal Rumble. The only thing stopping it is Vince McMahon's ability to locate his cheque book. Recent business moves suggest Lesnar returning is an inevitability, and it could well happen as early as the 2021 Royal Rumble.
