Will this be the year that WWE allows Elias to enter the Royal Rumble as normal and get eliminated in standard fashion? No, of course not. The Drifter will enter early and he will sing a song as he does, making a mockery of the time between entrants along the way. His three Rumble appearances have seen him enter at six, one and two respectively. You can work out your own pattern from there.

WWE has done the Elias at one and a surprise entry at two thing before, but as that involved Jeff Jarrett it is fair to say that everyone has forgotten about it. Elias will be one of the first two in the match because WWE doesn't know when to leave good enough alone, but who will be the big name returning to interrupt him? That all depends on the quality of the theme song, obviously.

Could it be Shinsuke Nakamura and his recently returned Rising Sun entrance? How about a shock return for Samoa Joe, straight from the commentary table? Daniel Bryan's take on Flight of the Valkyries is always a winner in these sorts of situations. There are options, to say the least, but I'm putting my pennies on a return to the Burnt It Down days for Seth Rollins. He's due to return, and what better way to do so?

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
