WWE Royal Rumble 2021: Predicting The 10 Biggest Spots

7. The Hurt Business Have The Numbers Advantage

These Royal Rumbles really are quite predictable, huh? There are a number of tropes that WWE builds its 30-person extravaganzas around, but few are as evergreen as 'heel group gets the numbers advantage before big-name comes out, causing four previously dominant men to look on in shock as a top guy slowly walks to the ring'. A wordy trope, admittedly, but a common one.

The Hurt Business seems primed to play this role in the 2021 Royal Rumble. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin have got 'early Rumble entry' written all over them, and 'all four members of the Hurt Business are now in the ring' is the sort of thing Michael Cole was born to say, as Corey Graves wonders whether anyone can stop them. Before someone comes out and stops them, of course.

Who will it be that manages to stop these dastardly friends in their tracks? Much of that will depend on which direction the group is headed as we trundle down the Road to WrestleMania. Will another group make its presence felt in the face of MVP and company? Could this be the time that RETRIBUTION finally shines? Obviously not, but expect The Hurt Business to have things their way in the early going of Sunday's match.
