WWE Royal Rumble 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True
9. Raw's Women Get Mere Minutes
Bianca Belair vs. Queen Zelina got less than four minutes and the six-woman tag lasted two on Raw. There's an annoying trend developing on WWE television when it comes to women's matches. They're just not getting the time they need to be anything other than skippable bitesized chunks.
Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop should be different at the Rumble. Should. What if it isn't? What if the E believe that Becks vs. Piper only deserves approx five mins or so of airtime? That'd suck, and not least because this is Doudrop's big chance to show that she belongs near the top of the women's game permanently.
It'd be so crap if she was soundly hammered in minutes.
The match would also tank if Lynch sidestepped Doudrop's onslaught for a countout or DQ loss too. There are only six confirmed matches on Saturday's show (at time of writing) - it's important that they all get a fair shake. Yes, two of them are Rumbles, but there's plenty of time to work with here.
